Analytics only
with your say-so.

Food Safety Australia uses optional, first-party analytics to understand which public pages are useful. Here is exactly what that involves.

Off until you choose
No analytics data is sent until you select Allow anonymous analytics. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, analytics stays off by default.
What is recorded
The page path you visit (without query strings), the referring site address, your device type as classified by your browser, and a random visitor identifier.
The visitor identifier
A random ID is created on your device and reset after 90 days. It is stored by us in hashed form and is used only to count unique browsers, not to identify people.
What is not recorded
We do not store raw IP addresses, query strings, names, email addresses or form contents in analytics. No third-party analytics or advertising scripts are used.
Pages never tracked
Administration, student, employer, sign-in, verification and API pages are excluded.
Changing your mind
Use the Privacy controls button at the bottom of any public page to change your choice. Declining removes the visitor identifier from your device and stops further analytics.

This notice covers website analytics only. Account, enrolment and payment information is handled as part of providing your training. For questions, use the contact page.
